3rd gen hitch, Colorado

Next tuesday the 27th, my friend Chris and I are embarking on a journey to Colorado. I'm simply moving back to college, but Chris is completely moving up there. We both have 4runners but have only 1 trailer hitch. With that hitch we are towing our hobie catamaran since sailing in lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans wont be decent for a while. The problem is that we need to tow a Uhaul with the other 4runner which has no hitch. Uhual down here wont rent us a hitch, so our only option (I think) is to buy a hitch from them. We wont be needing the hitch once we get to Colorado, so my question is, is anyone interested in buying a pretty much new trailer hitch that will only be used for the haul up to Denver? I will keep the receipt to prove its "new". I think it will cost around 145 and is a class 3+ hitch.... can I get any offers? Thanks for your help!

Depends on the price....but I would look at Hidden Hitch or Curt before going to UHaul crap. Usually the same, if not worse Taiwan stuff, for more money. Where are you going to college at??
Brett.

I would either buy a used OEM one or get a Hidden or Curt.

I would consider buying one from someone else in the country, but the mail system is so screwed up here in New Orleans I wouldnt get the hitch in time. In fact, it would probabaly be 4 weeks to late hahaha. I will shop around, thanks for the heads up.

I go to the University of Denver by the way.

What about borrowing one? I've no idea what shipping costs are, but if you want to do the legwork & pick up the shipping you can borrow mine. I was thinking of taking it off to paint it anyway...

edit: sorry, just reread your post and you're driving up on Tuesday, that's too late to pull this off. sorry I didn't read this a week ago..
