3rd gen auto trans updates

Were there any updates/upgrades to the automatic transmission during the 3rd gen 4Runner model run ('96-'02). I believe the run started with the 430 transmission. Thanks.

Yes, the main one being a valve body upgrade. I got mine from IPT, and right now we are working on a group buy for only $399. If you want more information, just let me know.

I am not aware of any problems or factory updates on the auto trans for the entire run of the 3rd Gen. There were no other TSBs published that I know of other then clarification in reference to the type of fluids that should be used.
