I don't think there is much to review, it is a tube with ends that screw in and out.

I was just checking...I guess the main reason of it being straight as opposed to the curved older model. (making it adjustable, I know )

Just wanted to see if anyone had it on...I will be ordering one soon !

The curves on the bent bar were purely ascetic, that in reality was simply a longer bar.

If you changed rear lift heights with the drop bar, it was off again. With the adjustable bar, no matter what height you are at it will always be perfect. You can change your rear setup every week and adjust the bar to the correct length for every setup.

Bottom line, is that this is a huge improvement over the drop bar.

RoofGoof, if you plan on going super high, I'll trade yours with mine. Im dropping mine down from 7 to 5 " and cant use this thing anymore!

Now, we have to be clear here. He's talking about a custom sized "drop bar" which is not adjustable and no longer made.

"IF" we would have had at the time he ordered, an adjustable bar, Ian could simply adjust the bar shorter from 7" to 5".

Yes, yes, very true

I should have added *sarcasam* in there... I doubt Roofgoof would want a big ol bar like mine. hee.

I cant wait to get the adjustable one! Then I wouldnt have to worry about my driveshaft hitting the gas tank under compression!! (Caused by ME ordering a bar that was too long, and then lowering the rear since it was too stiff/tippy).

Steve...what about the load sensing valve. The pictures on your website don't appear to have this relocated on the adjustable bar. Would I have to weld this on the retain the function?

Anyways, I am glad you guys are thinking of this kind of stuff...that adjustable bar is sweeeeet.

Off topic, hey Ian do you still have a BL on that thing too? Just curious.

There are so few base model 2.7's out there that did not get ABS. With ABS you did not get the load valve. Even my 2.7 did not have the valve.

Honestly the only thing you can do is a drop bracket to level the stock bar and then a raise bracket for the attachment point of the level valve.

This bar is for the other 99% of the 3rd Gens out there. You would need to take a different route.

Yeah, I still have a body lift. Im planning on taking it down to 1" though too.

I like the clearence between the frame and body. More room to work with.

You still making surf boards? With Clark gone what has happened? Interesting industry to watch and see what happens.
