What are the measurements on the 3rd gen coils, and could they be used in the rear of a 2nd gen runner?

 

I noticed that noone will give you an answer.....so I will try.....


I have no idea, but they sell different rear springs for 2nd and 3rd gens so I'm taking that as a "no" on the swappability.

 

what measurements are you looking for? I have a set I pulled off when I put on my OME's and I tried to unload them but noone seems to want them.. I had a 2nd genner looking at them but we took measurements compared and they won't fit. but I can take any measurements you want if you want to check it again.

 

Doesn't much matter to me as long as the length is bigger, and the rate is about the same (which I would expect it to be). Between the machine shop and a welder, I think I could make most anything fit. I figured it would be a cheaper, more fun way to fix my ass-draggin' '95.

 

I'll sell you both of mine if that's the case then.
