33's on a Gen II?

From what I have been able to gather in other threads, fitting 33's on a gen II runner requires, at the minimum, a 1-1.5" RB body lift, new bumpstops, ball joint spacers in the front and possibly some t-bar cranking, new 1.5-2.5" lifted coils for the rear, and some minor fender trimming/flattening of seams. Im going to assume also that regearing should be done for a V6, but I can do that later. Does this all sound correct? What else should be included in this lift? Brake lines, something about a panhard bracket? I know this might have been said somewhere else, so if somebody can let me know where these posts are, or give me the advice i need, that would be MUCH appreciated. I want the smallest lifting possible to fit the 33's. Thanks again guys.

You got it.

If you get the 1.5" HD rear coils from Downey, the kit comes with the brakeline and some brackets. No panhard drop is necessary for that small of a lift. Longer shocks will get you better articulation though, but they're not needed immediately.

Do you have an auto or manual tranny, V6? If auto you might want to regear sooner than later, although cebby seems to like his 33s and V6 auto (4.88 stock). For SLO and Salinas the gearing should be ok, but if you go to mammoth or anywhere above 5000ft, you'll have no power.

I'm running LandCruiser coils in the rear and ball joint spacers in the front. I'm running 33" MT/R's and have no problem. It's slow but not bad at all in my opinion. No rubbing except at full stuff. I've got a pic but I don't know how to post it
