Talking 3" downey HD coils

anyone out there running the 3" downey HD coils and just cranked their t-bars upfront?

Downey only makes a 1.5" coil for the 2nd gens.

If you want 3", you have to buy a 1.5" spacer puck, then also get longer shocks.

The 3.5" ones are for the 2WD 3rd gens.

However....you can get close to 4" out of the 1.5" coils depending on how much you are sagging.

I'd say from the sagging position to the way it sits now, I got close to 4".

yea when my runna is parked level i am like .5" away from riding on the bump stops....the back probably has 50 pounds of stuff in it:cry:

ps that dark runner in the background of your second pic is pretty much like mine looks (the sag part)

i guess the downey coils will be 1.5" longer that what stock should be!! that should be pretty sweet
