Question 3.4L Supercharger Bracket...???

I wanted to get some feedback on all of those who are Supercharged if any of you have or installed this support bracket for the nose drive for the TRD Supercharger...??? Gadget also had a write up on this mod and also recommends it...Have any of you who don't have it had any problems with the nose drive leaking oil...??? Here is a site for a more detailed statement and a Picture of the bracket that they recommend using...

http://www.bluedevilproducts.com/Hom...20Frameset.htm Go to standard products and look for motor components...

I didn't install the bracket. I have the 4th gen charger and from what I've heard they changed the housing a bit on mine so it's stronger. I don't know it that's really true or not, but I've had no problems with leakage or anything else. The bracket seems like a good idea though. Good luck.

The idea of supporting the nose of the supercharger is to relieve the excessive strain on the manifold mounting bolts. It has absolutely nothing to do with oil leaking from the nose of the supercharger, NOTHING.

The one you have referenced will not work on most of the newer superchargers. It attaches to a bolt hole that is no longer machined into the supercharger nose drive. If you do not have this hole machined in the nose drive in the right side of the input shaft, you can not use that nose drive support bracket.

I have designed one that will work on all of the superchargers months ago and had a big fight with my machinist tonight about getting the prototype done.
