3.4 rebuild

Been lurking here for a while. Lots of great info on this site!

So, I'm about to begin the rebuild on a 3.4 from a 2002 Tacoma. I know about the head bolts being torque to yield, but I can't seem to find any info about the rod bolts and main (crankshaft) bolts. Can those be reused or do they need to be replaced?

The only info I found concerning the rod bolts was where people had over torqued them, only to have them break. I've not found much of anything concerning the main bolts.

Any info is appreciated!

When in doubt, RTFM. As I read it, it appears they can be reused. They are not flagged with the little diamond that means non-reusable part.

Thanks for the files. That definitely helps.

I did rtfm, but I only have the Haynes, which doesn't say a thing about tty bolts, nor anything about parts that can't be reused.

Now off to find a tapered ring compressor...
