no amsoil? phooey! i guess i will have to get a K&N then. ok, here are some pictures of the tube. it's dark outside, so they are poor photos, but you can get the idea. it all still needs to be cleaned and painted. look at that dirty engine!



i was worried about threading a nut on the inside too. that is a disaster waiting to happen. plus, it's almost impossible to find a nut that would fit those brass nozzles! but i really lucked out and found this little guy while scrounging around in the garage.



i'm not sure where to get one or what it's called exactly, maybe someone on here knows, but you might be able to find one with all of the other air nozzles at the hardware store. it's great because it bevels out at the bottom and you can screw that rubber sleeve down onto the outside of the pipe for a perfect, air-tight fit.
