so as the title says i'm wondering if a 2wd auto transmission will work with a 4wd transfer case. If the transfer case comes from a 5vze auto could you simply take the tail shaft off the stock 2wd transmission and bolt on the transfer case? The truck is a 2004 prerunner dbl cab, 5vze auto.
