2nd Gen Two Door 4Runner Round Up
I have a 1990 two door 4Runner. I noticed the other day that I have never seen another 4Runner like it. It seems that two doors on the 1st gens are everywhere but not on the 2nd gens.
Any one else have a two door 2nd gen?

Not me, I have a 4 door. Honestly, over many years, I have NEVER seen a 2nd gen with 2 doors. Not in northeast, not in southwest or anywhere else... and I pay attention to 4Runners. I did not know they existed until I seen them mentioned on the boards. Do you have any pics?

I was able to find these few by using the "advanced search" feature on autotrader.com
2-door 4Runners
They seem to be rare. I've seen a few here in the SouthEast over the past few years.

I have a 90 4Runner. Since I bought mine here in SoCal I've only seen maybe 4-5 others like it. Very rare!
I bought mine back in '99 and it's been a great vehicle, but unfortunately I'll selling it (too many vehicles).
Here is a pic of mine

I agree they aren't very common, and even more rare for sale. Howegver there is a "dead" on sitting just north of me in somebody's driveway. Every time I drive by I think of putting a note on the window to see if they want to sell it. I wish they made the 2door 4runner still. Oh well, chalk that one up there with solid axles, diesels, and other cool features.

I had some really cool pics, but my hard drive crashed a couple of months ago and I lost every thing. I should get around to taking some more. I'll post them if any one is still interested.

This is my 1990 2 Door Runner...
It's been a great truck; just had it re-painted in June.
Only Problem - trying to pile in the back without any running boards...that can be a challenge...not my problem though
