2nd gen CV Axles
Well after a weekend full of woops and rocks I have 1 badly torn inner cv boot and a leaky outer on the other side. I think based on what I saw today under my truck that I will just replace both axles.
Are there any cv axles out there that are better than oem?
CV boots better than others?
Have you seen any writeups of how to do the job?
Thanks in advance.

Heh,
Over here in good old Arizona, buying CV-Shafts at Checker is the way to go.
Why you ask?
Because they have free unlimited replacements when you buy one of their remanufactured CV's, and they only cost $80 with a $50 core charge for the one you're replacing. Obviously someone in management doesn't realize that I and some of my friends have cranked through way more than any "normal" 4Runner...
It's pure, unadultered genius!
