My instinct says it is your rims w/ that tire combo, and not the tires. Follow bamachem's advice and just get new rims instead of spacers.

Keep us posted, and learn to spell my name please or stick w/ "wabbit"

Andy is DEAD on. Localmotion sold his 5 stars in like 2 hours on YT. $400 with center caps.
I want $550 shipped for 4 LX450 wheels and lexus center caps.
I ship via DHL and these would be to you in two days.

Someone better grab these or I am going to mount some Nittos and have two sets

Are spacers really that bad? I love my 5 star wheels and would prefer to keep them, but I gotta do what works best in the long run. If I didn't see that others were pulling off the same wheel & tire combo I would be okay, but this is just annoying now.

Seems that those with actual experience with spacers have positive ones.

Looks like new wheels is the way I'm going as long as Eric's are still available.

I had those 1/4" slip on spacers once upon a time and they sucked! I wouldn't advise on using them-I took them off after only one trip.

Yup, I bit the bullet and dropped the $$, the Lexus wheels are on their way, and I'll be sure to post up some shots once things are all mounted up. Thanks to Eric for being a great guy and business man durring this ordeal.

That reminds me. I'm running 285's on my '96 and they ARE very close to the upper a-arms (I can fit my hand flat between the two easily enough) How much space do you guys have between the tire and a-arm? (those of you that are running 285s that is). Do any of you ever see rubbing from the a-arms on the inside of the front tires?

If you have space between the tires and the A-arms, that space will stay there. When the tires move the a-arms move with them.

actually, the gap isn't consistent thru the travel of the front suspension. at normal height/position, you will have a gap. when you droop, the arm pivots at the ball joint and can actually close that gap and touch the sidewall of the tire.

to check, jack up the front so the wheel droops and THEN check the arm/tire clearance.

I stand corrected. I was only thinking about wheel compression and not droop. You are very right my friend.
