231mm Tundra Caliper Question
Hi all,
I'm in the process of installing 231 calipers with Brembo rotors and SS brake lines into my 2000 4Runner (will post pics later). I have these small metal wires that go behind the tundra calipers, I guess to lock up the pads... I can't seem to figure how to put it back together.
If anyone has a picture or a diagram of the caliper please send to me.
I don't want to install the calipers without this wire.
I know.... I should of taken a picture before I took out the old pads... sorry.
TIA,
maguirre

if your talking about the "W" shaped looking giant paperclip thing, i did away with it, it to my belief serves no purpose. but the tiny ones that hold the pad retainers are crucial though.

Thanks to both of you....
Then I won't go crazy trying to figure how to install the "w" clip.
I'll just do without it.
