22re miss at idle.

Now, my 22re has a miss. Let me explain.

When i start up my truck (usually with some hesitation for the first of the day), it will run fine while it's cold. It's idle is alright, the power is adequate (by that I mean normal for a 22re).

I'll drive and it'll warm up, it still runs fine. Until I take my foot off the gas pedal, it will give an erratic miss. It will miss so bad the truck will stall on me if I don't feather the gas pedal when I'm stopped in traffic, so you can imagine the footwork (or lack thereof).

Now my mechanic says it's the injectors and that they're probably just dirty, and told me to pour some injector cleaner into a near empty tank of gas and let that do it's thing. His reasoning for the good idle when it's cold is that the CSI is running and that is fine, but after it's warm it stops and the engine gets starved for fuel as the injectors can't supply enough fuel because it's clogged.

Somebody help me, I've been searching through this site, over on pirate, and many celica boards and I couldn't find anything on my particular situation.

Thanks in advance.

is your TPS adjusted correctly, i had a random miss at idle on the 4runner and it turned out that it wasn't correctly adjusted, and the cold start injector only injects fuel when your cranking so its not that
