22re Flywheel resurface - Step height?
Just trying to find what the stock flywheel step height for a 22re is, and what non-stock steps people here have used when they got their flywheels resurfaced...
I think stock is around .020", but I've heard alot of people using a step of .026".
Incidentally, I'm installing a new Centerforce Dual Friction clutch with a stock weight flywheel.
All opinions welcomed!

i thought the 22r/re flywheels were completely flat, well if there is a step then i would think that less is better, the more you have puts the pressure plate farther away from the disc, and you will have less holding pressure as the clutch wears

Wouldn't the more step you have make everything tighter. I have the CF Dual friction plus 10LB heavier flywheel. It's going on 8yrs turning 33's. Any machine shop should know what the step height should be.
