if you take a 86 22re and put it in a 81 model with a 22r and use the 86 exh manifold, is the intake manifold on the 81 model going to bolt up and work on the 86 model head, if not what do you have to do...just worried on the intake side...let me know please

yep, it'll bolt right up. might have to plug some holes in the exhaust manifold though, and i think 2 pipes come out so you'll have to rig up some "Y" junction in your stock exhaust.
