22r engine in Tacoma shell

Is it possible to put a 22r engine into a 98 Tacoma 4x4 body. Just curious about it I assume it wouldn't be worth it but I have a 22r engine and saw the Tacoma body for sale and wondered if it's possible.

Anything is possible but you would be much better off selling the 22r and getting the correct engine for the tacoma.

If you need to ask the question the answer most likely be no.

While I love the 22R series engine getting the OB II system to work could be quite interesting .

Unless your just building a off road vehicle that get hauled to where your driving which would I think need to be all private land

Then you would need to custom build the exhaust because your fuel tank is on the left side.

If you need something to get you away from the wife have a few extra thousand $$$ it would be a interesting and expensive project to reduce the horsepower
