great ..now the price will be jacked up all year long

 

Well considering it out handles a Nissan 350Z and hauls more than just groceries, I'd say if I was in the market the price is pretty reasonable.

 

If only you could buy one! Hino won't be delivering frames until early '05, so it'll be Q1 arrivals. Even then, only 3,500 are being made, about 2 per dealer for the MY. TRD is making interesting goodies like the S/C and 4-pot big brake kit. It could wind up surprising a few BMW's at track days, heh. This will be an excellent short-term investment rig and budget racer with world's largest trunk.

Oh, to clarify, it's the Sport Truck of the Year presented by Sport Truck Magazine. They're using an X-Runner as show pony ad truck. The X-Runner beat out Dodge Dakota, Dodge SRT-10 QuadCab and Nissan Frontier to win the award, which was presented to Toyota last week at SEMA.

 

Sweet! That's even more of a reason for me to get an 05!
