2004 4Runner Limited V6

Hi, my dad is considering purchasing a new 4Runner Limited with all options w/o Navigation. Can you tell me your personal experience with it. Something that's not in a brochure or something a salesman cant tell me. Also, what are some engine mods for it. Compared to other cars my dad is considering, it has less horsepower. I'm biased to 4Runners since buying one of my own a month ago. I want to convince him that we could always add more power later if he felt he wants more. TIA.

The new V6 has more than adequate power (245 Horses). What does he need more for?

uhm, 4Runner would be heads above the rest you listed there.

The 4th gen. 4Runner is dependable, comfy, ready for on and off road, lots of room in the rear to store gear, plenty powerful ... compared to other suv's I've driven, the 4Runner actually felt pretty peppy and sporty. Overall, there is a lot of value there for the cost.

one thing ill say for sure is, you cant go by numbers alone. a truck running at 270hp that is held together like ˟˟˟˟ wont feel as solid and fun as a 240 hp truck that is held together tight and is solid and firm.

hi everyone, my dad decided he liked the 4Runner best after test driving abunch of cars nad trucks. We picked it up yesterday. 2004 4Runner Limited in Dorado Gold (my mom's favorite color). So my dad got the truck he likes, it's in my mom's favorite color, and i get to know that my dad will be driving around in a reliable, comfortable, and capable car.
