Hi all, I've done a little bit of searching and found this thread with a write-up for rebuilding a PS pump from an older model pickup. I'm thinking between that thread and the FSM I can get the job done. Assuming I purchase the correct rebuilt kit, can I follow his instructions? I have a 2003 Tacoma 4x4 (Extra cab), 3RZFE, 5-sp manual.

However, I don't want to rebuild the pump, and possibly risk screwing something up, if that's not the issue. The drivers side of the engine bay is a mess, which makes tracking the leak a little more difficult for a novice such as myself. Has anyone with this model truck seen anything similar?

What types of cleansers, etc should I use to degrease the engine and should I be worried about permanent staining of the driveway underneath? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
