2002 tacoma , wont start, wire from battery corroded. replaced #6 wire to fuse block. turn key you can hear start relay but no dash lights and no turning of the motor. replaced 30amp and 40 amp fuses but still motor wont spin. touch wire from battery directly to fuse block dash lights come on but still motor wont spin . checked neutral safety switch , it is good , had starter checked it is good , no melted wires under dash , replaced ignition switch . still motor wont spin and dash lights stay off . any ideas ?? im at a loss.

 

What voltage do you have on the battery?

If one battery cable was corroded what do the other ones look like??

I would look at the ground cables as well.

 

thanks for reply , checked all the above post. even replaced 30 and 40 amp fuses . replaced ignition switch still no dash lights and no motor spin. starting relay works.

 

found a fuse bolted down inside the fuse block . hidden from view . thanks for your reply!
