Hey james, don't think anyone in this thread was looking for an engine. Nice hi-jack though.

Trying to bypass the 15 post rule for the classified forum probably... or, ya know, SPAM.

Exactly what went through my head too, but I also though maybe the noob just dropped the post on the wrong thread. Time will tell....

SUCCESS! Started it up last night, ran good.... Except it has a misfire. lol Just on one cylinder it sounds like, because its not missing all over the place as if the timing is out of whack. Just a tiny "pop" at idle. Seems to stick with it all the way up the RPM range as you rev the engine. Gonna pull it out of the garage tomorrow and drive it to see what else happens. Has to be something i did, it didn't have a misfire when it was put in the garage. Hopefully it throws a code for a cylinder.

Oh also, i installed new belts, how do you know how tight it should be? They aren't squealing, so i figure i'm okay.

"misfire" fixed, turned out to be a vacuum leak from the crappy ebay CAI he put on... Put the stock intake back on and it runs like a champ!

On the belts, I set mine so they have the slightest amount of deflection mid-span when I push down with a couple of fingers.

Glad you got it back together and running good.

Sometime in the near future, been looking at 90-95 runners and pickups! I'd love to get a Taco like my brothers, but those are a little out of my price range.. After seeing CalRockx's 4runner, i'm leaning towards a 4runner.. Whatever i get, it will have 4wd and a 5spd! I LOVE my Camaro, but i'm ready for something that isn't as low... And has AC

Oh, i'll be around, my brother keeps me busy fixing all the crap he messes up.lol
