Arrow 2001 4Runner 4X4: What should I do to it?

I recently purchased a stock 2001 4Runner 4X4. Since my last truck had a lift and tires, I feel that this needs a little fixing up too. I was thinking of getting an OME 3'' Suspension Lift and a 4Crawler (Rodger Brown) 3'' Body Lift and 35 BFG Mud Terrains. Do you think this will work? Or do you have any other suggestions as far as lifts?

3" on the BL might be a bit excessive. there are shifter linkage problems after 2" or 2.5" I think.

After going really big, Id suggest you stay with a 2.5" susp and 1-2" body lift, and do some slight fender trimming to fit the 35" tires.

agreed, but i dont get why 35's are neccessary...

my 2.5" sus lift and 1" BL and 33's with a rear locker do amazingly well. i think when i want 35's, ill be either sas-ing my truck or buying another truck to sas.

So my best bet would probably be the OME 2.5-3'' Lift with a 1 or 2 inch BL and 33s.

Yes. If you need 35's or 37's on there, then start coming up with the cash for an SAS.

Next Question: I'm wanting to get some chrome wheels but I can't decide between the Dick Cepec DC-1s and the Diamo 17ks. What do yall think?
