2000 4runner tailgate window gremlin
Hello out there ,
I'm having unintended opening of the tailgate window every once in a while. I went to my local Toyota dealership to find out if there was a service bulletin.
And to my surprise there was one (0991), the recommended repair for this according to Toyota is to replace the relay and transmitters(2).
To me this seems a little extreme, I was hoping someone experienced the same problem and hopefully came up with some sort of shade tree repair.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

OK, well from what I recall the way to stop this without the costs is to simply press your window lock button when you leave your vehicle.
