2000 4Runner SR5 4x4 Keyless Remotes
I picked these up for 5 bucks off of craigslist and got them programmed and working after replacing the batteries. They are FCC ID HYQ1512Y. If you're trying to find used ones make sure you get the correct FCC ID because there are more than one type. Here are the instructions for programming that worked for me www.toyota-4runner.org/.../7501-programming-instructions-keyless-entry-remote.html. I have a 2000 SR5 4x4 and this was the correct FCC ID for me.
Also, if you're having trouble at the end of the process and getting the double lock cycle that indicates your remotes are being rejected try being really precise when you hold the lock and unlock buttons and only hold them for a second and no more before holding just the lock button down. I had to do this a few times but once I did it right it worked immediately. If you have more than one remote make sure you program them all at once before you close the door or you'll have to do them both again.
