Question 2000 4Runner and 265/65/17s?

I have a 2000 4Runner with 265/65/16 tires and have found that Ebay has quite a few dealers selling brand new 17" Tundra wheels with tires for a bit more than I can buy just tires for. These tires are 265/65/17 and are about 1" taller overall. I have looked at what this will do to the speedo, but I am wondering if they will fit without rubbing and what I can do for a spare. Do I get a 16" tire to be a close as possible in diameter or switch to a 17" for the spare also?

Thanks for any info

they should fit without rubbing, yes... member HOJU has these rims, so maybe he can chime in... there might be a wheel spacer involved here...

How come nobody talks about the 4R Sport's 17"s? I actually like those better than the Seq/tundra's 17's.

I am looking at the Seq/Tundra 17" because they are what is available on Ebay, in good quantities.

Anyone have answers for me?

The 4th gens 17s are nice but I'm sure they still command a high price but they could be a nice option.
