alright so i sold my 96 to a good friend and only the right rear light will turn on. all the fuses are fine, the bulbs are all correct and to make things even more frustrating the brake lights work at all 3 spots. does anyone know whats going on?

are they all new bulbs, on my 2000 pathfinder a rear brake light blew out and when I replaced it the new 1 worked but the old 1 that did not blow out did not, realized that even though 1 blows out you have to replace them in sets

 

Dexter, I had a similar problem last week with my runner. I ended up cleaning the connection to get the new bulb to work. Hope that helps.

 

I just replaced both of my brake/tail lamp bulbs a few weeks ago and just today I was informed I have no brake lights. I still have the taillamp light and all the others plus the center brake light works but no actual brake lights.

I did a check on the fuses and both bulbs are fine. :wtf:

 

Any suggestions to look for??
