Hey i have recently purchased a 1st generation 4runner and i am looking at respraying it, it is currently red with a black removable top. the entire car will have to be painted so changing colours is on the cards. i was just curious if you have seen any 4runners with custom paintjobs and what looks good and what doesn't.

Am in the process of having my rear fender rust repaired, will be getting a paint job later on.
One thing to keep in mind, the fiberglass tops should ideally be prepped differently when painted. Regular paint will work but apparently will not last as long and separates after a few years.
