1st Gen Heater Plate- Cheap Fix
Can't believe what these plates are going for, can get that whole assembly new from toyota for $27. Wanted to save you guys the money...
After messing my plate up changing colors/bulb, I bought just the control panel sticker with the graphics on it. Looks brand new, just like this $30+ ebay one. Carefully sliced the old sticker off the heater/clock frame with a sharp knife, it crumbled into a million pieces. Just cleaned off most of the old adhesive and stuck the new one on. New one can be pressed and poked without even cracking, put my finger right through the old brittle one.

Here a shot of the new one, with the largest surviving chunk of the old one for comparison. Made a big effect of the "new" look of the truck. Light output is much cleaner too...
