1st Gen Exaust...

Well planning on getting a muffler awhile ago...and not having the $$$. I now do! I am going to go with a magnaflow muffler, and 2.5" pipe. The only thing, is I don't know what all I would need, or the size exactly, I know that a shop would bend the pipe and do "all that jazz" for me. Would I just measure the factory muffler and get the same size? Or does anyone know??? Sorry to sound like a moron :pat:

I went w/ the 2.5" pipe and a flowmaster. I am pushing a little more through the exhaust however, for a stock set up I would stick w/ 2.25" max. Are you going to go "catback" or header and all? If you plan on taking it to a shop for install they will bend and weld new muffler in for you. If not, and you have access to your own welder get the muffler first to work off those dimensions for the pipe sets.

I went to Bucky's and had them install my cat back. It was 2.25" like flecker said.
Swing by and see what they have.
