1st 4Runner advice

I've been shopping around for used runners and found a limited 97 with only 70k on it. But the owner told me that on the carfax report it said "Exceeds Mechanical Limits". I'm not exactly sure what that means and was hoping that somebody could shed some light on it for me. Also, he's willing to sell it for 11 which has me slightly concerned. Let me know you guys think, and I appreciate any advice I can get.

Odometer Rollover (Exceeds Mechanical Limits) - When the seller certifies, under the Truth in Mileage Act, that the odometer reading EXCEEDS MECHANICAL LIMITS of the odometer, usually 99,999 miles.

On a 97 limited would that mean it has over 999,999 miles?

Is this a serious problem, what problems does it pose?

I can't believe you found a 97 with 1,070,000 miles on it, I'd suggest you pull the carfax record for yourself & see what's really on there.

Yeah I was planning on that, I just don't understand how that kind of problem would come up on a 97. Thanks.
