Its not a big deal, just make a new thread if you have a question on a different topic completely. That way the thread stays on topic and you do get multiple conversations on completely different subjects happening at that same time.

Alright, well I got my two sets, and installed them in the Land Cruiser this weekend. No surprises, taking the seats apart was a bit of a chore but everthing all went together fine and the heaters work well. Hey Cracker.. in the last page of the instructions they mention a referral program
REFERALL PROGRAM

This offer does not apply to Dealers or if customer purchases the kits from our auctions. It's quite simple and easy. If you refer a customer to AutoWarm.com. If they complete a purchase, we'll send you 4% commission to your Paypal account. That's all there is to it. You can get co-workers, friends, family, people you know online, people from forums, basically anyone. This offer is only valid if the seller can provide a proof of purchase. Examples: Emails, Customers Information, Date of sale, ETC. The more they buy, the more commission you get! Join our sales team and start profiting.

Example:

"Bob" just purchased two Heizgerat Setz II heated seat kits from ebay. Bob installed the heated seats into his vehicle. The next day "Bob" told his best friend "Ricky" where to get the kits from. "Ricky" emailed sales@autowarm.com about purchasing two kits for himself. The next day, "Ricky" made an online payment for two kits that costed $172.00USD. "Bob" joined the reseller program. "Bob" sent an email to sales@autowarm.com requesting his commission. When "Ricky" received his kits, "Bob" received a payment ($6.88USD) from our paypal account. The more the customer buys, the more commission you'll get! The possibilities are endless. If you have any more questions, please contact me anytime!

Thank you

Nancy Ross

Corporate Sales Manager
It does say if you buy on the auction that it doesn't apply, but I sent you a PM with my pertinent info.. looks like you could get $7?

Here's a pic of how the switches turned out.. I drilled holes in some blanks and installed them in the center console, when I do this to the runner it will look very similar..

Sorry Tripper, only pic I took was of the switches.. install's done!. Once you get into it, read Cracker's post above again (#30) and it will make a lot more sense.

Cracker, keep us posted on the rebate thing, would be cool to keep this going if it works..

You guys that did buy a kit, can you post up links for where you got them?
Please also post how much you paid for the kit....would be very helpful.

There are quite a few seat heater kits on ebay and it is almost impossible to tell which are good and which are junk.

I want to get these installed in my two vehicles.

sorry hadn't been following this thread. For those that haven't done it. You can trim osme of the foam off the bottom of the seat. This will allow more of the heat to get through. Thats what I had them do, when they did my install.

I posted the link to the Ebay site I purchased them from in my #17 reply. These are from the Autowarm company, but alot cheaper than buying thru the company.

I can build or rebuild most anything in my garage, but I am not computer savvy. Send me your email address and I can forward the pictures to you.

The directory link will work, but webshots dynamic links to idividual pics so the pic links only work for a short time. Just leave the pics and directory link or use something like www.photobucket.com

Thanks for posting those pics!

Thanks for posting the pictures, hopefully they should answer anybodies questions regarding the heater installation.
If anybody in/near Colorado wants to install the seat heaters, you can come on down to Pueblo and we can install them in less than 3 hrs. You supply the beer!

Hey Roadtripr,

Did you get your seat heater kit from the same place as cracker_1?
If not do you have a link for the ones you got?

or go to there website http://www.autowarm.com/products.php and pay $120.
