1996 LC's Installed! Pics coming up!

I'll post pics later today. INSTALL NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED SPRING COMPRESSORS!! SIMPLY UNBOLT THE SHOCKS AT THE BOTTOM, DISCONNECT THE REAR SWAY BAR INSIDE THE WHEEL WELL, DISCONNECT THE BRAKE LINE (DON'T FORGET THE BLEED THE BRAKES ONCE YOU RECONNECT IT), AND PULL THE AXLE DOWN. YOU CAN PUT WEIGHT ON ONE SIDE BY PRESSING DOWN ON THE BRAKE DRUM WITH YOUR FOOT. THE LC SPRINGS WILL SLIDE IN FINE WHEN YOU DO THIS. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE FIRST SINCE IT IS THE LONGEST, THIS MAKES THE PASSENGER SIDE EASIER. Overall I got 3.75" of lift over stock without the conical bumpstops. When we first dropped the jack they were at 4.5" over stock. They settled 3/4" in 1 hour. I found this weird because they are used by 121K. But the ride is unbelievable! It is firmer than stock but yet, its soft. It feels like a pillow, they absorb the bumps sooo nice. It is hard to explain, but it feels MUCH better than the OME 890's. It actually softened the front with how the LC's don't transfer motion to the front, they just soak up the bumps. Haven't had a chance to wheel it because I haven't extended the bumpstops yet. Overall it took 3 hours and 45 minutes. But, we hassled with the panhard bar/fabricating our own drop bracket for 2 hours; which we didn't put to use. So the actual rear-end suspension took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Jerry and I ended up jumping up and down on the towing ball until Jared could time it and throw the bolt through the stock panhard bar and mounting point. My axle is off center by about 1/2". I have just under 1.5" of lift up front. I think I'm going to add 2 topout spacers and extend the bumpstops up front and get limiting straps.

Welcome to the LC club Nate! You'll come to love them even more over time, just as I have. IMO, they're the perfect rear spring, unless you do a lot of heavy towing. You ended up with about the same amount of lift I did with my '95 LC's.
With only 1.5" up front, I'll bet you've got a ton of rake! The rake on my rig is noticable with 2.5". I'm still debating what to do up front, but whatever I end up doing, it will have to wait until spring. Congrats on the LC install, now post up some pics!

Yea, with 265/75/16, im sitting at ~ 39.25" fender to ground. I got quite a bit of rake, but I think 1 inch up front will look perfect!
