Hello Again,

Lets first start off with, if you have tons on money to blow Go this way:

FabTech 6" Tacoma Lift (Front only)

All-Pro Leaf spring kit for the back (6" Kit)

Fabtech kit is about 1800 or so...
all-pro is about 800 in total with all parts needed for the lift kit.

With that set up, you would be able to clear 35's...

Or you can go with:

Pro Comp Front Lift kit 4" with Downey add in 3"
All-Pro Leaf spring kit for the back (6" Kit)

Your looking to spend around 3,000.00+ if you want to go a good way, most of the guys here will say go with a SAS, but if you do the front alone will be around 3k... or more...

Let me know if you have any questions!

Most of us 3rd Gen guys only run 2-3" because of the CV joints. If you go much higher than that with a huge differential drop you asking for a major headache. With that much stress on your front end you will be tearing up your CV's and destroying ball joints. I would stick to the smaller lifts like most of us run unless you can afford to do a SAS. Good luck

Dood , Breezey, that is one of the sickest 4runners i have seen ! That is exactly how i imagined mine ! I love the rack on top and the sliders. Which lift are you using and what about what was mentioned about the CV angles ? what size SSR's are those ? are you locked also ? man, nice job ! what is SAS ? I like the pro comp/downey/all pro solution does that leave 7" in front and 6" in back ? How much are these components ? and are they all that are needed ?

I have a total of 6.5" on my 97 4Runner. I have 305/70r16 (33x12.5) BFG MT and have plenty of room for 35s.
To clear these I got:

Old Man Emu shocks and coils (2.5"-3")
Cornfed Spacers (1.5")
Roger Brown Body Lift (2")
Wheel Well Grinding (1" for uptravel)

This cost around $800 and I did the work myself

Hyperlite:

Did you opt to go with the soft, firm, or firmest shocks/coil set?

I cant make up my mind on what to go with...

Hijack on:

Hyperlite:

I have a total of 6.5" on my 97 4Runner.
How do you run that high of a lift up front without CV issues? I understand that 2" is a body lift. But, still 4.5" in the front is huge on the CV's.

Hijack off:
