Your on that site Keith! What engine do you have and what year!
Nothing is recommended! You recommend what you want to do, more power, a lift, gears......! Search around Keith and you'll find it all here!
Here are some more: www.off-road.com
www.4x4wire.com
www.pirate4x4.com
Good Luck!

Keith,

Your 1995 4runner has a 3.0 litre engine and lacks air flow and power. I would start off by doing a search for "air intake silencer removal mod". That will tell you how to upgrade the air intake tube aswell as check out the "air box mod". you will get power assistance after you do those inexpensive mods. As for tires on a stock 95 you can fit 31s with the 8" wide wheels. As for lifts I have the 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift with 35" tires. What do you want in the form of a lift. Do you want it jacked up or something simple? Also it wouldnt hurt to upgrade your catalytic converter to a high flow unit aswell as muffler to a high flow model. Try not to go to large with your overall exhaust or you could end up back to the lack of power state. Questions? Just ask, everyone here is very cool. Ben

31s on a stock truck? 8 inch wide wheels? huh? 31s come stock on 7 in wheels.

32s on 7 inch wide wheels fit on a stock 4runner too.

thanx for all the info guys.... yea so far i took off the stupid running boards and rear bumper and stuff for more clearance... and as far as power jsut a simple flowmaster muffler added instead of stock muffler since i kinda broke that one wheelin. I had the new exhaust tucked up higher since stock hangs really low. The basics i wanna do is try the air mods for power then also just some good lockers and lift and bigger tires.... i dont wanna go all out on this because of the cost in the long run....i was thinking of buying another older 4runner with the straight axles that way i can do more. On this 95 i just want it raised and able to do majority of things but nothing too hardcore.

As far as gears i read somewhere that since i have 4.88 and gears and dont wanna do too much hardcore wheelin i should be fine running 35-36's with those gears.... any opinions?

Welcome KeithH,
The only limits to mods on your second gen is your pocket depth. Look around you'll find lots of good info and help here.

I'd say skip the snorkel unless you actually think you'll need it.

It's not cheap, and the money could be better placed.
