I cruise at 80-85 every day in my stock 98 runner... When i drive in the middle of the desert in NV i had mine up to 107 b4 the limiter shut it off and took me to about 100. there are stretches out there where you can go 100+ for long periods of time.

I snapped my speedo cable in my 4runner at about 110. Avg HWY speed is usually 85 -90 on flat highway. but its the normal speed everyone else on the HWY is doing as well.

Truck:

(It didn't have much trouble pulling all the way to the 105 mph speed limiter.)

Per my local drag strip my Supra will hit 114 mph in 13.2 seconds and 150 mph is all to easy.

(This pic isn't mine, but I like it.)

I dont know which makes me more nervous...that there are people that push their cars/trucks to those speeds or the fact that there are people driving those speeds and then taking one hand off the wheel and both eyes off the road long enough to get out a camera, focus it, and take a picture...

100mph in 3rd no problem...i'll try and get a pic of top speed tomorrow if i have a good open road

hey, its not like the car is jumping all over the place, or im doing it right next traffic. If i wreck my car. its my own problem. I wont do it near other cars, but if im on the freeway, and i dont see any cars for a few miles, i have no problem opening up the throttle, and pushen it. plus, think of it as a driving test...ya know when they have you back up, some people turn the wheel when they look behind them. and they fail. but if your smart when you look behind yourself, your steering wheel stays straight...when i pick up my camera (auto focus by the way) and snap a pic, i havent moved anywhere...still in the same lane.

hope all that made sense... thats been the way of my night

LOL seems an explanation is needed

Approx 350hp and a 37% overdrive makes for easy cruising.
