16x10's on the 4Runner
My 16x10 Pro Comp 1069's came in today... 4.5" BS... Went to get my NTG's mounted and slapped them on the 4Runner...
Didn't need to do any additional trimming/pinch weld pounding from what I had to do to run the 16x8's with the 295/75/16 NTG's... Drove around a bit and no rub...
It does stick out a little bit more, like 1/2"-3/4"... Not as much as I hoped for but it does help with the stance a little bit... I'm guessing it is probably comparable to a 16x8" rim with a 3 5/8" bs and 305/70/16's... I love the additional lip on the 16x10's along with the deep concavity...
I know alot of you guys are against going with 16x10's but I don't wheel much and if I do, it would be easy noob stuff...

Those rims make the tires have a much larger footprint plus nice stance!!! I like the 10" wide rims... And I wheeled my 83 Toy with them w/o a problem. I want some wheel spacers to improve my stance....
Looks good!!

Yes, I think the 10" wheels look nice. But 16x10 wheels get criticized for good reason though. With a 3rd Gen and limited style flares they'll rub for sure and they'll most likely blow beads more often. Here's a pic of my 16X8 4 3/8 BS wheels and some 315's stuffed into the rear. These barely fit into the rear wheel wells.
Close Up
As you can see, they're tight. I bet if my wheels were wider I would need to trim the rear to stuff a 315.

It still has alot of room before it hits the a-arms... I can still fit my fingers in between. If you run 305/70/16's it might be a close call... However the 295/75/16's I'm running is not as wide...
