16" brake question?

Has anyone ever converted there 3rd gen Limited with 16" wheels and larger brakes to the ones that come on the sr-5 -15". Wheels and tires are so much cheaper and easier to find... Just wondering? If this will work does anyone want to trade?

I don't have a clue why you would want smaller brakes.
Yes, the rims are tougher to find but how often do you change rims?
16' Tires are always available almost everywhere.

No it wont work (if you mean swapping 15" wheels to the 16" set-up. More $$ than its worth to do the swap. Why do you want to do this?

16" tires can be as cheap or cheaper than 15's.

I can fit 15's on mine!! Just didn't realize tires for 15" wheel were cheaper until it was too late.

Tire cost

Compare rough off road tread( Pro Comp0 cost 16" to 15" Normally 40.00 a tire difference. Also went to globe this past weekend and busted to 265-75-16 BFG MT No one with me had a 16" rim..... Tons of 15".
