04 Taco,1 month old,1400 miles: 1200 mile straight trip. OK?

I just got word that a family member is ill and I may need to drive from Denver CO to Grand Rapids MI. The trip is 1200 miles one way.

The taco is 1 month old, has 1400 miles on it as of today.

Technically I am no longer in the 'run in' period. However, is it ok to put this thing on cruise going 80+ for hours on end?

I suspect everything would be just fine and I shouldn't give it another thought.

Any thoughts or experiences?
Thanks

Yeah, i don't see a problem. I'd change your oil since you'll be coming back as well and I don't know how much driving you are going to be doing while you are there.

I did a run from Denver to Ft. Lauderdale in my '02 Tacoma and had no problems. Mileage on the other hand was not all that great, but then I did have a topper and a full bed both ways.

No, don't drive it. That causes things to wear out.

Yeah, park it in a garage and take a flight. You wouldn't want it to depreciate, now would you??

In all honesty, you should be just fine, just give her an oil change and you're good to go..
