04 4Runner

Having problems with 2004 4Runner, no low end power or mid range than would just accelerate exhaust smells funny like unburned fuel and really rough idle, unhooked ground and it would reset and run great for a week and then it goes back to running like crap...changed all the o2 sensors Ecu charcoal canister emptied gas tank nothing changed everything u can think of ...just read somting about the transmission solanoid or torque converter.just wondering if anyone has any suggestions!

Sounds like a tune up is due.

Trans issue would be different, as in shifting problems or diirrrty ATF, also part of a tune up.

So, any codes yet?

Resetting the batt erases the memory, not the problem. So they recur after a period of drive cycles.
