For those of you with the clearcoating/paint method ... did you polish the clear at all? I'm thinking of doing this, and since I have some auto paint polish (like what you'd use after painting and clearing the car) and a dremel tool with a polishing bit, I'm thinking of really shining the hell out of them.

My stock front emblem is chipping away at the silver after 86k miles, so I will probably do that one first just to see what happens. I also got some slightly different paint. I'll post the results once I get it done...

 

I put my clear coat on wet enough that its really shiney without polishing. Still need to do my back ones, just did the front over the winter.

I don't have any yet but I will tell you what I will do. Paul just ordered the whole kit from me and as soon as I have them I will take a picture of all of them and post them, shoud be tomorrow. As for which ones, kit contains all emblems on the vehicle. Sorry I don't have any pics right now but tomorrow I should tomorrow.

I will get the pics out probably tomorrow and I would like to see the Borla exhaust as well. What did that cost and exactly how loud is it. I have been blowing through gears so quickly since I put my flo~pro I have been considering switching up. I will let you guys know when the pics are up.

Ditto, I am commandeering the digital this weekend. So, I hope to have pics up of the Borla. Now that I am up to 1300miles the system is getting louder at cold startup. That is good and bad, louder in that I am noticing a metallic rattle at first, diminishing when the engine/exhaust warm up. Maybe the bolts need to be re-torqued on the connections? Otherwise, it is great. We have had almost three straight weeks of cloudy/rainy weather, I would like to get pics in a nice sunny environment, the garage does not offer good lighting.

 

btt- pics please Todd, if you can hehe I'm gonna rip my emblems off this weekend if I can see pics of what the black pearl emblems from Toyota look like.

$219.83 is the price minus the two 4WD emblems. Orginally I had quoted that price and forgot about those two. That is the price with shipping please let me know via email if you are interested. If so, please include VIN and a detailed description of exactly what you need and I will be more than happy to get them to you.
