02 TACO tranny question

02 TACO tranny question
Just recently replaced the tranny fluid with Mobile1 synthetic. The owners manual said 2.6 qts replaced in the tranny. I have heard that you are suppose to fill it to the fluid runs out the fill port of the tranny, the book says 2.6 qts. which should I do?????
