I've seen other 2wd Runners with those wheels so I don't see where there'd be a problem.

No problems. You may want to run 265/70/16 (stock 16" size). You may rub if you go to 265/75/16's

not sure if its a problem, but the smaller (15") brake calipers may be an issue?

You shouldn't have any problems w/ 16" wheels. I had a friend who was able to clear 265/75r16's w/ no problems. (He didn't have running boards though)

ill prolly run by the dealership today and find out, im not too worried about rubbing, as i am with mechanics such as brakes and gear ratio settings.

I have been pleased w/ my KO's. If you look at Jacksonpt's site, I have owned quite a few different tires and always go back to the KO. Before the TJM I had no rubbing whatsoever. After TJM there is a VERY slight rub when at full lock or going in steep driveways.
