02 4Runner known issues

Hey dudes...

I just started doing my own maintenance on my 02 4Runner (the last warrenty finally went), it was dealership serviced on time all the way up to 97,000. I guess I'm just looking for any advice or common issues I can look for to ensure I'm on top of any issues. I'm car savy so the labor hasen't been to bad so far, just an A/F sensor here, and oil change there...
It has 102,000 miles and runs like a champ, but I've been reading different forums around the web and I've become gun shy when it come to the high milage vehicles. There are a lot of horror stories out there. Is it time to give up the family truckster and start fresh, or can I milk the beast for more years. The DIY maintenance bill is deffinately lower than a new car payment....
Please, let me know if I should be looking for my next vehicle or is it worth the effort to keep the runner around.

Brian

If it is paid for...keep it. Drive it until the wheels fall off.

There is a maintenance forum on here that has some good links. Try here:
