i read that link. and while doing it again last night i noticed the www.toyteclifts.com lifts. are they as good a they seem? they look like they come with everything i would need for a good price.

im looking to have my truck be a daily driver and a weekend warrior (and some weekdays too) but im not gonna beat it to hell, just the powerlines and maybe some mud now and then. and im only lookin to clear 32" or 33". I JUST NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHAT TO BUY

 

I know nothing about Toytec lifts but I find it annoying to go through the whole site and only see one picture of the spacer aside from the logo.

If you don't want to spend the $ just go for a body lift from 4crawler. If you don't want to go that route get a spacer lift up front and an AAL in the rear. If you have a little more $ go for the spacer up front and the leaf pack in the rear. If you want to spend more $ then I'd suggest seeing what kind of performance you'll need at the powerlines or for mud and then determining what you need.

There shouldn't be any rush deciding what you want to get for a lift. Do some research and you'll end up not spending extra $ on a lift that doesn't suit you (too much or not enough). By the way, ttora.com is a very good resource as well as pirate4x4.com. Don't limit your searching to just this forum.

 

Taco Dude is right - I am not a taco owner, but I have run with TTORA - they have tons of knowledge. The bigger issue to me that I am seeing here is that you are more interested in getting it done than really thinking through/researching the options. You do not want to approach altering one of your largest investments that way. Just my input from a lot of time working through these same questions on several different trucks.

 

like Taco dude said ttora.com is really good for taco stuff. I personally wouldn't run more then a 2" BL cause of centre of gravity etc. What about like Revtek or Cornfed (heard good about both) spacer up front, a longer shackle in the rear, rear shocks, and a 2" BL. You should be able to fit 33s with that as long as you get proper backspacing.

 

If you post on TTORA you'd better put it in the "newbie" folder/section or you'll get flamed faster than you can fart!
