01 3.4 engine

ok i need to know if the 01 taco came with a mass air flow down by the intake box cause i picked up an 01 3.4 engine and the air box was smashed and i dont know if it came with one so if u can post pics of the engine that would help alot thanks for the help

All the 3.4L had Mass Air Meters directly after the air box followed by a pipe that goes to the throttle body.

Only differences that I know of is the type of air silencer that was between the mass air meter and the throttle body. No big deal though as long as all the vaccum lines get attached to a vaccum port.

This is a pic of my 01 Runner (same engine as Taco) with the silencer replaced with a alum pipe.

You can see the mass air.

PM Strap22 (Phil at Toyota of Dallas) or call Evan over at Northridge Toyota for a current price on a new one.

The MAF you're looking for is going to look like this (located right on the airbox itself):
