"+0" Extra-flexy 1st Gen replacement springs?

I'm researching replacement springs for my 85 4Runner. I would like to NOT add any lift (ok, maybe an inch). I would love to replace the saggy stockers with something a little flexy-er but with minimal extra lift.

I've done a lot of searching, but haven't had any luck. Any ideas?

 

You might give These guys a call. They sell a lot of stock-height replacements. The only other thing I can think of is to look through the yellow pages and see if there is anyone near buy who actually makes custom leaf packs. I know there used to be a shop like that down the road from me, and they would re-arch old springs and/or fit you with new leaf packs or just a simple add-a-leaf. It was really popular with the ranchers who did a lot of hauling, but they also did a lot of lifts, too. I can't remember their name, but I think it had "leaf spring" in it. Just a thought...

sporin if you want back springs get stock springs from a 83 and older 4x4. they flex alot better and they dont sag like the 84 and newer ones do. they look diffrent but they are direct bolt ins. in 84 they redesigned the springs. i heard of alot of people doing it and they said it was amazing the difference it made take the swaybar off that helps in the front. i did it on my 82 and didn't hardly notice a difference in handling.
