0-60?!!!!!!!

Ok, I know I have no real performance mods besides the deckplate, silencer, and tolune additive but I tried testing my 0-60 time and it was 9.2 seconds!!!! Now I had nothing in my truck and the ECU had been reset 200 miles before. Given it is an automatic but should it really be this slow?

hehehe I'm guessing that you have a 3rd Gen 4Runner with the 3.4L engine. Because with my '91 4Runner with custom 2-1/4" exhaust, and K&N FIPK Kit, my 0-60 is roughly 14 seconds with an automatic

Ya, what year do you have? I know my truck sure feels like it does the 0-60 faster than that...and I though mag's put them in the 7 sec range stock 0-60mph

I think that 4runners are quite heavy to be doing the 0-60 thing
I did a 0-60 in my supercharged tacoma and it was 4.2sec-- in other words, I only had to shift once and I was already at 60mph. I know that there was a runner that ran 12's so it is possible to go lots faster with some mods to the runner!

first of all its a 2x4 not a prerunner, manual tranny, supercharged, 370cc injectors, supra maf, deckplate, trd posi rear, 17" racing tires, SAFC and it doesnt weigh near as much as a 4runner. second of all, I know how to drive it. Its really not that fast you know, a mustang cobra does 0-60 in like 3.5secs and that is off the lot.

just to let you know there has never been a mustang cobra run 0-60 in 3.5 seconds stock off the lot.....thats faster than an all wheel drive 911 twin turbo....i would like to know what you used to measure your 0-60 speed...

A 2002 Stock Mustang GT does 0-50 MPH in 5.7 seconds, The Cobra of that same year does around 4.8, Never seen one do a 3.5 off the lot unless you are talkin' about the 03 cobras with 390 HP NOt sure what they run though:confused:

I know for a fact that the mclaren f1 does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds because there is a poster of it in my room with the specs right next to it....
ok--heres a comparison for ya, a prelude runs the 1/4 at 14.9 stock-- its 0-60 is around 6.0sec
remember that commercial about the porsche doing 0/60 in 5.2sec? and the guy commenting that his 3000gt did it in 6.2--"he paid 50,000 dollars for a second?"
I have timed my truck again and again and it always comes out the same--by the time i redline in 2nd, its already at 60-- ( and by the way i believe you about the mustang GT, they aint that fast )
