Thats what they run out here in the Rockies. I would happily pay less lol. I was finding them between 700 and 1000. The u pull em dont get many in, the Yota Yard and Jims get most of them. So naturally they kinda monopolize on the situation.

This is what I WANT to put into it. But the old man already has plans for it.

No not on my truck LMAO. I have had alot of people call me a Neo Nazi for that sticker though. Its like, really??? Its only the Metal Mulisha. I should have the newish engine in tomorrow. Hopefully. I don't like my truck being down for longer than a few days. I start to go insane.

I know right. Thats the product of a leaky oil pump. It used ALOT of oil, like a qt per week.

Thanks, its a good way to keep them out of the way.

I got a few new parts at the auto store today. A new clutch, a new ditributor, and a new Optima Red Top (it wasnt holding any charge and was still under warranty).

The new engine

The other half of the EGR delete kit installed

Almost all of the way installed

All I have left for install is:
Radiator/shroud, exhaust, fluids, all vac and elec hook ups, distributor and plug wires. Other than that, she should be back on the road tomorrow.

Its in!!! Runs friggin great. Hit a snag earlier though, the tool box kid that my dad has hangin around stripped spark plug hole #3. I had to drive to the parts store, which happens to be like 40 minutes one way, to procure a thread chaser. We ended up having to take the head completely off and chase it from the underside, cuz the top side threads were too far gone. Once I got all of that all buttoned up and back together, I soldered all of the crimp fittings on the harness that the PO hacked apart. After that we had a slight hard time with the timing. Thank god the old man is an expert (old Snap-on racing super tuner). Took it on the maiden voyage and it seems to be all good. The temp stays right in the lower 1/4 of the guage, no leaks so far, the new clutch rocks. Im so stoked to have my truck back, eventhough its only been like 3 days. The next thing on my list is prolly the rear wheel cylinders, then I hope the 57" Ford springs.
The final product

Now its time to do some of this and some cold weather this. Probable wheelin trip on Sunday to the local nattys, just a quick day trip.
